PRODUCT OVERVIEW

A Geogrid Family for Reinforcement Contexts

The Geogrid range is organized as one product family with three material and construction contexts: Plastic Geogrid, Steel–Plastic Geogrid and Fiberglass Geogrid. Plastic Geogrid is listed in both uniaxial and biaxial forms.

At family level, Geogrid is described for strengthening roadbeds, improving stability and bearing-capacity context, and supporting applications subject to alternating loads.

01

Roadbed Reinforcement

For roadbed strengthening and improved stability and bearing-capacity context.

02

Deformation & Cracking Context

Used in contexts addressing roadbed deformation and cracking associated with loss of roadbed material.

03

Retaining-Wall Backfill

For improving the self-supporting context of earth fill behind retaining walls.

MATERIALS & MANUFACTURING

Material Context by Geogrid Category

Each category has a distinct source-listed material context. Product selection should therefore identify the intended Geogrid type before project-specific requirements are reviewed.

Plastic

Polypropylene or polyethylene is listed as the raw-material choice for Plastic Geogrid.

Uniaxial and biaxial forms listed

Steel–Plastic

High-strength steel wire or other fibers, PE or PP, and other auxiliaries are listed, together with special treatment.

Special treatment listed

Fiberglass

Alkali-free untwisted fiberglass roving is listed as the raw material, with a weaving process identified at a general level.

PRODUCT SELECTION

Information for a Focused Product Discussion

Provide the project context and specification so the relevant Geogrid category and required product information can be reviewed.

Application

Identify the intended roadbed, embankment, retaining-wall or fencing context.

Geogrid Category

State whether the inquiry concerns Plastic, Steel–Plastic or Fiberglass Geogrid.

Project Specification

Share the required dimensions, performance class and applicable project requirements.

Procurement Information

Include quantity, delivery requirements and the technical documents needed for evaluation.

MANUFACTURING & QUALITY

Review the Correct Product Context

The three Geogrid categories differ in listed materials, forms and reference standards. The inquiry should identify the required category before product and documentation details are confirmed.

Project-Oriented Review

For a clear technical and procurement discussion, submit the intended application and project specification together with the required product category.

  • Confirm the Geogrid category and, for Plastic Geogrid, the required directional form.
  • Review the project specification against the relevant listed reference standard.
  • Confirm required dimensions, performance class and documentation for the inquiry.
